1. Eligibility for Returns
We accept returns under the following conditions:
- The item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging.
- Returns must be initiated within 30 days of the delivery date.
- Some items may not be eligible for returns, such as electrical components, custom orders, or special clearance items, unless they are defective.
2. Return Process
To initiate a return, please follow these steps:
- Contact Us: Email us at returns@canadacarparts.com with your order number, a description of the item you wish to return, and the reason for the return.
- Approval: Once your return request is approved, we will send you instructions, including the return shipping address and any other details.
- Ship the Item: Pack the item securely in its original packaging and send it back to the return address provided. Please include the original receipt or proof of purchase.
3. Shipping Costs
- Return Shipping: You will be responsible for the cost of return shipping, unless the item is defective or you received the wrong item. In such cases, we will cover the return shipping costs.
- Original Shipping Costs: Original shipping fees are non-refundable, except when the return is due to our error (e.g., incorrect or defective item).
4. Refunds
Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund:
- Approved Refunds: If your refund is approved, it will be processed within 5–7 business days, and a credit will be applied to your original method of payment.
- Partial Refunds: In certain situations, only partial refunds may be granted (e.g., if the item is returned damaged, missing parts, or not in its original condition for reasons not due to our error).
5. Non-Refundable Items
We do not accept returns or issue refunds for:
- Items that have been used, installed, or modified in any way.
- Electrical components, unless proven to be defective.
- Custom orders or special clearance items, unless they are defective.
6. Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange a faulty item for the same one, contact us at exchanges@canadacarparts.com, and we will guide you through the process.
7. Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item, please contact us immediately at support@canadacarparts.shop or call (416) 984-4043. We will arrange for a return, replacement, or refund, and cover all shipping costs associated with correcting the issue.
8. Restocking Fees
For some returns, a restocking fee of 15% may be applied. This fee will be deducted from the refund unless the return is due to a defect or error on our part.
9. Cancellations
Orders can be canceled if they have not yet shipped. To cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible at support@canadacarparts.shop Once an order is shipped, it cannot be canceled, and our standard return policy will apply.
